We love to collaborate with families and are excited to welcome a new Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) who shares our passion for helping kids shine and be brave communicators!
Are you a compassionate and enthusiastic SLP ready to make a real difference in the lives of children? If so, we are looking for YOU to join our team! We are looking for a part-time W2 employee for a pediatric caseload (ages birth - 18). This part-time position has the ability to grow into a full-time position within ~3 months. We are seeking someone with a flexible mindset who has availability to provide therapy in a variety of settings: in-person at private schools, daycares, in-office (Escondido), in-home, and via teletherapy.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Certificate of Clinical Competence - CF’s will not be considered at this time.

Current California state licensure.

A minimum of 1-year pediatric experience (early intervention, schools, out-patient).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine love for working with children and a heart for helping families.

Team spirit and a desire to collaborate with others.

Responsibilities
-
Conduct initial assessments and write appropriate evaluation reports using standardized and non-standardized measures.

Create personalized treatment plans in partnership with families ensuring everyone feels involved and supported.

Deliver therapy sessions that are not just effective but also enjoyable!

Keep detailed records of client progress and therapy sessions via daily SOAP notes, progress notes every 6 months, and discharge reports after a client graduates or gets discharged from therapy.

Work collaboratively with our team and the families we serve to provide holistic care.

Stay up to date with the latest in the field of speech-language pathology to bring fresh ideas to our practice.
